Do not rest on your laurels, do not be satisfied with what you have achieved, but always go forward. This was the first thing Robert Sollich did in 1928, when he moved to Rostock the small bakery/cake shop he had founded a few years earlier in Ratibor and, in addition to that, he built a company for confectionery machines.
In that year he invented the first vacuum sugar boiling machine. His son, Helmut Sollich, was also a born inventor. When he took over the company in the 1960s, he followed the right intuitions and immediately showed great insight into future market changes. Under his leadership Sollich became the largest manufacturer of chocolate coating systems.
Today, Thomas Sollich, grandson of the founder, continues the family tradition by researching ever more optimized and customer-friendly solutions. Thanks to the inventive and entrepreneurial spirit, the German company has set quality standards in the design and production of machinery for the chocolate processing, continuing to confirm itself as a safe and reliable partner.
