HDG RB-200 alla FachPack di Nuremberg

The machine type HDG RB-200 is a compact horizontal form, fill and seal machine with the proven turret system for side sealed pouches.

It belongs to the HDG premium line and distinguishes itself by high performance as well as maximum flexibility: all of the pouch types shown in the following overview can be produced and filled on the RB-200.

The exhibit shows a packaging machine for tea bags. It is one of three recently ordered HDG-machines by a large German tea enterprise. This fact shows that throughout the years, HDG has established a sound know-how in the field of tea packaging; this knowledge is continuously extended for tea bags as well as for bulk tea.
Many well-known tea packers rely on this knowledge and use HDG machines for their production.

A special set of challenges is presented by the handling of the very this light product as well as the special circumstance, that the HDG machine has to adopt to the independent upstream machine working in continuous mode. With the exhibit working in simplex mode an output of up to 70 pyramid tea bags per minute in 4 side sealed pouches is reached.

With the integration of a new quick change over system, not only the change over time of different pouch formats can be drastically reduced, but also the cleaning of the equipment can be optimized. The possibility to control all sealing stations by servo drives and with this, to cover a large spectrum of film qualities top off this highly optimized machine concept.

HDG machines are designed along with the highest hygiene and safety standards of most multinational companies demand and can be delivered with the latest Pack-ML standards. All machines are capable of 24/7 operation and, depending on product specification, can be delivered in conformity to the corresponding ATEX regulations.
